General Trias, Cavite – In a simple ceremony held at the town plaza last Monday, December 9, 2013, the Local Government headed by Mayor Antonio “Ony” A. Ferrer gave recognition to the contribution made by the top corporate taxpayers of 2012. In his message, Mayor Ferrer emphasized the important role of private stakeholders and investors in the socio-economic progress of the municipality.
For this year, the awardees are as follows: Analog Devices Gen. Trias Corp – Top 1, American Power Conversion Corp. – Top 2, House Technology Industries – Top 3, The Purefoods Hormel Corp. – Top 4, JAE Philippines Inc. – Top 5, San Technology Inc. – Top 6, Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club – Top 7, Magnolia Inc. – Top 8, Maxim Philippines Operating Corp. – Top 9 and Unilever Foods Phils. Inc. – Top 10.
Joining Mayor Ferrer are Vice Mayor Maurito C. Sison and members of the Sangguniang Bayan. This occasion also gave Mayor Ferrer an opportunity to relay his plans and programs to the company executives present and assure them of his administration’s continuous efforts to maintain an environment conducive for businesses.
